Sigma-Aldrich distributes BASF Pharma Excipients in small pack sizes
BASF SE and Sigma-Aldrich have signed a global distribution agreement for a number of BASF’s pharmaceutical excipients. Sigma-Aldrich will repackage the products into small pack sizes making them available for academic- oriented research and development segments like universities and laboratories.

Expansion of Lutrol portfolio
BASF has added new products to their pharmaceutical poloxamer portfolio, the so called Lutrol grades.
BASF used to offer Lutrol F68 (Poloxamer 188), F127 (Poloxamer 407) and corresponding micro grades. The extended portfolio does now contain Lutrol L 44 (liquid poloxamer 124), Lutrol F87 (Poloxamer 237) and Lutrol F108 (Poloxamer 338). Monographs of our sustained release polymer Kollicoat® SR 30D (impacting its derived product Kollidon® SR) are now part of both, the European Pharmacopoeia and the USP.
